Active Creative Design (ACD) is a studio founded in 2008 in Paris by Patrice Mugnier and Kuei Yu Ho. Its production uses multi-disciplinary means of expression: scenography, graphics, motion design, interactive scripting, sound design , industrial design, real-time programming.
The works created by ACD are presented both in France (Centre Georges Pompidou, Cité des Sciences, Musée de l’Homme, Palais de la Découverte) and internationally (China, Taiwan, United States).
Pilot of the film À la dérive
First screening for the pilot of the film À la Dérive, transposition of the #DRIFT show for an immersive 360° dome. A production by Patrice Mugnier, Frédéric Deslias and Norbert Merjagnan. And above all a unique space experience, from Earth to the exoplanet Trappist 1E. Thank you to the Cité des Sciences Planetarium for their warm welcome.
The analogous Nîmes
The artistic creation of the Nîmes analogue is now open to the public at the Musée de la Romanité, in Nîmes. Resulting from a collaboration between Active Creative Design and Emmanuel Berriet, with sound design by Raphaël Isdant, the project presents itself as an immersive and participatory work highlighting the historic city and the emblematic works of the museum.
#Camuchech
ACD is participating in the #Camuchech workshop, organized by the Comédie de Caën as part of the ]Iinterstice[ festival in collaboration with Frédéric Deslias and Norbert Merjagnan. The studio supported a real-time projection during the performance in the theater, as well as an augmented reality application.
